SUPPORT THE COLLABORATIVE

The CEW Collaborative is grateful to our founding Supporter, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), which provided seed funding to create the CEW Collaborative. SCAD’s grant has moved us forward with establishing our organization’s infrastructure. As we prepare to “raise” young artists, the support and investment from our community will allow us to fulfill our vision and give us the tools needed to begin working with students.

The Collaborative school is founded on the principle of an all-inclusive education, providing the resources and training for a multitude of career paths in the arts. Students will have the opportunity to work with and be guided by Charles Edward Williams, a world-class professional artist and education leader in the Lowcountry. His passion as a visual artist is behind his approach to engaging his students and including the parents, teachers, and our community in transforming how we Discover, Create, Evolve, Together. Twelve hours of instruction will be offered, starting in September 2024 through May 2025, on two Saturdays of each month. Sixteen students meeting the program’s criteria will be chosen from the Lowcountry county middle and high schools. All artist-quality materials and field trips to regional museums will be provided as part of his pre-college study curriculum. The school year will end with an exhibit of each student’s portfolio of work at a featured location.

The CEW Collaborative appreciates your support in providing our students with the best resources and training to guide them in pursuing their creative goals and positive development. When you make a gift supporting the arts, you directly enrich our community.
