Imagining a world of visual possibilities is inspiring. Carrying out those artistic ideas you possess takes courage. The intuitive process of art-making is uniquely who you are; you are a visionary. Our collective provides supportive access to these creative ideas, strengths, and practices as placeholders. After engaging in careful review, critical thinking, and art theory, students will receive newfound tools to establish their visual vocabulary in the foundations of drawing and painting. Our students will have the Collaborative’s support to create:
• Encourage students to share ideas, be open-minded, and cultivate students’ artistic and creative needs.
• Offer world-class art instruction, including arts workforce development in critical thinking and technical training to prepare students for a multitude of career paths in the arts. Create access to quality art supplies, equipment, and reference materials for teachers, students, and parents.
• Establish partnerships with local schools and arts organizations to share resources. Engage local business owners in creating career workforce opportunities such as networking and building relationships, job placements, and mentoring to help provide insight and guidance into the art industry.
